Drop-off & Intake
The watch is logged with a reference number and a brief description of what you have noticed.
Assessment
We examine the movement, case, and dial. A written condition note is prepared and shared with you.
Agreement
You read the note, ask questions, confirm the scope. No work begins without your go-ahead.
Service & Return
The work is carried out and the watch is returned with a written record of what was done.
Wind & Wellness Check

A friendly assessment and light service for a watch you would like to wear again. We examine the movement, clean accessible parts, apply fresh lubrication where needed, and regulate gently — then share an honest note on the watch's condition. Helpful for pieces returning from a drawer.

A complete service for mechanical watches that need more than a light touch. The movement is fully disassembled, cleaned in the ultrasonic bath, re-oiled throughout, the balance and mainspring reviewed, and timing regulated across positions for dependable running. Seals are renewed where fitted.

Vintage Restoration

A patient restoration for vintage watches with character worth preserving. We overhaul the movement, conserve the case and dial to keep their honest patina, and discuss each step so the piece stays true to itself. Photographs accompany the work at key stages. For watches with a story to protect.

Secure Custody
Every watch is logged on arrival and stored in a dedicated tray in a locked cabinet when not being worked on.
Grade-Specific Lubricants
We use Moebius oils and Bergeon greases matched to movement type — not general-purpose alternatives.
Timing Machine Verification
All regulated movements are checked on a Witschi machine before return. Results are noted in the service record.
Parts Sourced Honestly
Replacement parts are sourced from established suppliers. Substitutions are disclosed and agreed before fitting.
Written Service Record
Every completed service comes with a written record of what was done — useful for future service reference.
Six-Month Check-In
Watches serviced at Chandra are welcome back at six months for a no-charge regulation verification.
